• Nick Clegg s’ha volgut assegurar el titular del dia en una entrevista amb el Times: I want to be prime minister.
• No sóc David Cameron, i, sobretot, no tinc res a veure amb Gordon Brown. Molt bé, molt bonic. El problema és que les dades ens diuen que els Lib depenen en part del bon paper del Labour. Dilema!
• La caiguda lliure de l’economia grega i les seves repercusions als mercats posen l’economia al centre de la campanya. Bona notícia pels conservatives, dolenta pel Labour, i pèsima per Clegg que en aquest espai perd molta força. Tanta, que segons Anthony Painter podria ser el principi de la fi de la bombolla liberal.
• What happens in a hung Parliament. Informació que serà de força utilitat pels anglesos veient quin és l’escenari que dibuixen les enquestes.
• Parlant d’enquestes. Ara mateix la mitja de tots els sondejos dóna els següents resultats. Conservatives 34% / Labour 27% / Liberals 29%

Brown l’ha feta realment grossa. Mireu què diu Benedict Brogan:

In minutes, this has turned into the most damaging off-mike remark in modern politics. It might finish off Mr Brown altogether. He’s just insulted a 66-year-old widow without cause. And she’s a Labour supporter. The contrast between him patting her on her back and praising her for being from a ‘good family’ and trashing her in the privacy of his Jaguar will horrify the Labour party, never mind the electorate. To judge by the foaming frenzy of the TV networks, this will help to depress the Labour vote even further.
